Too Young To Love
Coming over all the way from Italy, we first saw TYTL play a gig in a church in London. Dazed and Confused reckon "Too Young To Love exist somewhere between the charts and the temple-they are Buddhist monk with synthesisers and headbands.."

Blue on Blue
Singer Dee was in An Experiment on a Bird in The Air Pump and we ran into them while Tim Burgess was producing them at his studio. They recently played Offset festival to an amazing reception and this is their first Manchester gig.

Black Daniel
When it doesn’t have 5 or 4, Black Daniel has 3 members. They are brothers Luke and Lamik2000 from London town and Craig Louis Higgins Jnr from New York via Cape Cod. Meeting for the first time in Manhattan through a “friend” on the dancefloor of a lower east side disco, they quickly discovered a mutual love of long walks in the rain. Some would say forming a band seemed like the logical progression, but it took a tour of the states ,asquerading as DJs before the inevitable finally happened. Sometimes something just feels right. This wasn’t one of those times but they did it anyway.

Mafia Lights
We bumped into these lot at Dockville in Hamburg where they just went for the party. They told us they were in a band, we listened and we loved them. from dream-esque pop soundtracks through to melodic minimalism, sampled guitar loops and jazz drum pieces.

Arlo and Fell
We DJ'd with Arlo at Glastonbury and he played us a demo by Arlo and Fell. They played a couple of songs at the house party at Kendal Calling at the invitation of 808 State and we reckon you'll love them
Girl Peculiar
We got recommended to listen to listen to them by arch curmudgeon Mark E Smith after he collaborated with them. We DJ'd a gig where they supported The Fall and can't wait to hear them again

Special Guest DJ
TERRY CHRISTIAN
Terry knows a thing or two about new music. His show The Word saw the first TV appearances by Nirvana and Oasis and legendary performances from L7 and Rage Against The Machine. He's got a great record collection too.
In The City is the UK's best known showcase for new bands and this is the 5th year Same Teens have put on a gig.
Last year our line up included Hatcham Social (10/10 for their album in Artrocker), Wu Lyf (in the top 3 new bands of 2010 in The NME), Televised Crimewave (gigged with Mystery jets at manchester International festival), My Tiger My Timing and Wild Palms - we've picked some of our favourite upcoming bands for what promises to be an amazing night
